Upland, Ind. --- The Bethel University Women's Soccer team (5-4-4) lost a hard-fought game to the Taylor Trojans (10-2-1) by a score of 5-2, Wednesday night in Crossroads League action.

The first half remained tight through its entirety until a goal from Taylor's Hannah Dempsey in the 25^th minute broke the scoreless tie.

Bethel's Giulia Franco answered in the 30^th minute with her first collegiate goal to tie the half 1-1.

In the second half Taylor scored three goals in seven minutes to pull away for the victory.

Audrey Lerch answered one of those goals for Bethel in the 78^th minute for her 13^th goal of her impressive season.

The Trojans put up 19 shots over Bethel's 11, seven of which came in the second half.
