ADRIAN, Mich. ---On Saturday, the Bethel Men's Bowling team competed at the SHU Halo Open at Lenawee Recreation, finishing second of sixth teams with a 4,382 total pinfall (Baker: 1,668; team games: 2,714).
The format featured 10 Baker games followed by three team and individual games. Bethel finished right behind host Siena Heights (4,758) and leading MSU (4,297), Grace (4,080) and Adrian (3,913).
Four Pilots landed in the top 10 individually, led by
Isaac Lleras (3rd, 584), who earned his first All-Tournament Team honor. He was joined by
Steven Jones (7th, 573),
Zachary Morrison (8th, 563) and
Isaac Jenkins (10th, 533).
Head Coach
Chris Adams highlighted the group's consistency:
"The men started strong and maintained their energy all day to have a solid day. They are starting to believe in each other, and it shows."
The Pilots return tomorrow to compete at the Adrian College Open.
