HOBART, Ind. ---The Bethel Pilots finished fifth out of eight teams at the KCAC Conference Championship on Saturday evening at the Hobart High School Aquatic Center.
Saturday's showing brought the Pilots to 289 points, thirty points ahead of sixth place University of Saint Mary (259).
Zachary Anguish took gold in the 1650 Free (16:16.58) a field of 13 athletes who scored.
In the Men's 400 Free Relay, Pilots
Jorge Souto Vilas,
Omar Khatter,
Nico Stuber, and
Andrew Williams finished fourth (3:07.02) in the top 50 percent of the field.
Champion of Character
Owen Fleck took second in the 3M Dive with a score of 226.15.
Head Coach
Chadd Maurer shared, "The men showed incredible resilience and determination and swam incredibly fast, finishing off their season with a fifth place finish. I am looking forward to watching these men continue to grow and get faster."
The Bethel Pilots will now set their sights on the NAIA National Swimming & Diving Championship, set for March 4-7 at Beacon's Elkhart Health & Aquatics.
