HOBART, Ind. ---The Bethel Pilots finished first out of nine teams on Friday for day three of the KCAC Conference Championship at the Hobart High School Aquatic Center.
Aixa Recchioni (26.01),
Makalynn VanEerden (30.32),
Eliza Nuet (25.75), and
Jaylyn Harrison (23.23) beat their previous conference record of 1:45.49 (2/14/25), improving to a 1:45.31 first place finish.
Harrison also added a new meet record for the 200 Free (1:51.70), which was previously held by Halle Briner (1:52.26) of Olivet Nazarene.
Aixa Recchioni (56.86) broke Olivet Nazarene's 100 Back Record, which was held by Paige Howell (57.22).
Ella Sherwood showcased a fourth place finish in the 100 Fly with a 58.05 time amidst 16 athletes in the event.
Ella Wardle took home the gold in the 400 IM (4:32.59), while
Sarah Graves won the 3M Dive (180.40) amidst six other competitors.

Chadd Maurer shared, "Lady Pilots continue to highlight all of their God-given talents with victories in the 200 Medley Relay, 3M Diving, 400 Individual Medley, 200 Freestyle, and 100 Backstroke. With one more day ahead of us, the Pilots are ready to keep racing hard and leaving it all in the water."
Friday's showing brought the Pilots to 545.5 points, ahead of second place Aquinas College (470).
The Bethel Pilots continue their conference championship run tomorrow as Bethel looks to hold on to its KCAC Championship Title.
