HOBART, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots continued their KCAC Conference Championship run on Friday, competing in day three of the four-day meet at the Hobart High School Aquatic Center.
The Pilots opened the day with a fifth-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:36.14), as the team of
Jorge Souto Vilas (24.06),
Pablo Mira Marquez (27.86),
Nico Stuber (23.38), and
Andrew Williams (20.84)touched the wall in 1:36.14, scoring 28 points.
Senior Zachary Anguish followed with another great performance, finishing fifth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:14.47, earning 14 points for Bethel.
In the 200 Freestyle,
Andrew Williams placed sixth in the A Final, clocking a 1:45.89 to add 13 points to the Pilots' total.
Bethel also saw scoring performances in the 100 Backstroke, where
Omar Khatter finished 10th overall with a time of 55.57, and on the diving boards, where
Owen Fleck placed fourth in the 1-meter dive, posting a finals score of 230.20.
Following Friday's events, the Bethel Pilots stand in fifth place with 204 points.

Chadd Maurer shared, "The men are swimming exceptionally fast in their respective events with new personal best/season best times! With one more day ahead of us, the Pilots are ready to keep racing hard and leaving it all in the water."
The KCAC Conference Championship concludes on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Hobart High School Aquatic Center.
