MARION, Ind. ---The Bethel Men's Track and Field Team competed at the Midwest Classic on Saturday, posting solid results across sprints, distance races, and field events.
Senior
Aaron Douglass led the Pilots in the distance events with an eighth-place finish in the 5,000 meters, clocking 15:46.77.
In the sprints, Junior
Marcus Smith qualified in the 60 meters, finishing eighth overall with a time of 7.07 seconds.
In the 400 meters, Sophomore
Lucas Linder placed seventh with a time of 52.28, while Freshman
Noah Jarvis followed in 10th at 53.03. Both athletes also contributed to the Men's 4x400 relay.
The 4x400 Relay team of

Lucas Linder, Phillip Harris, and Kane McCory finished 10th, posting a time of 3:36.67.
In the field events, Senior
Joey Rutten earned a fourth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 4.45 meters, and Sophomore
Christopher Korthuis placed 10th in the long jump with a mark of 6.29 meters.
Bethel's next time out will take place on February 13 at the NCCAA National Indoor Championship, hosted by Cedarville University.
