ELGIN, Ill. – Bethel women's soccer fell 1-0 to Judson on Friday at Dawson Field despite out-shooting the Eagles 10-8, as a first-half goal proved to be the difference.

MATCH RECAP
Both teams traded chances in the first half, with Thalyta Martins drawing two saves out of Eva Fernandez before Judson broke through in the 35th minute. Dafne Caballero converted an Anika Elgin assist to make it 1-0, a lead that held into the break despite Bethel closing the half with three more shots. The Pilots continued to press after halftime, with Martins, Camdyn Bolton and Ashley Lopez Cruz all testing Fernandez, while Isabella Ferreira made five saves at the other end to keep it a one-goal game. Judson's defense held on down the stretch, and the Eagles closed out the 1-0 win.
