COACHING PHILOSOPHY

  • “I promote selflessness, competitiveness, positivity, accountability, and hold communication as one of, if not, the most important value of a great team, on and off the court. I want to help young women achieve more than they thought was possible, both in basketball and in life. With a strong work ethic, a high level of competitiveness, selflessness to others, a positive mindset, confidence in themselves, and the ability to communicate effectively, young female student-athletes can achieve anything they set their minds to.”
  • “With regards to basketball, I am a huge advocate for a fast-paced game. Being able to attack the other team on both sides of the floor, making the other team react to us as opposed to reacting to them, will give us an advantage especially at the end of the game.”
  • “I wanted to coach because I learned much more than basketball from the coaches I had throughout my life. The relationships I had with those coaches, and the coaches I have worked for, have helped me become the man I am today. I believe those relationships, and the relationships with the student-athletes, are much more important than what is going on in the game of basketball.”
