MONROE, Mich. --- The Bethel Women's Bowling Team competed at the American Heartland Bowling Conference Falcon Classic at Monroe in Monroe, Michigan on Saturday.
Bowling the same format as the men, three team (individual) games followed by 15 Baker games, the Pilots finished with a total of 4,285 pins on the day.
Bethel was led individually by
Alexandra Burkholder, who placed 20th overall, averaging 185 for her three games. She was followed by
Miley Phillips, who finished 24th with a 175.3 average, giving the Pilots two steady anchors in the varsity lineup.
Head Coach
Chris Adams highlighted both the positives and areas for growth, saying, "The ladies bowled well today, but left pins on the table. Alex and Miley were solid today."
The Pilots will next compete at the first Crossroads League Tournament from Dec. 5-6 in Marion, Ind.
