Men's Bowling Lands Top Five Finish at American Heartland Bowling Conference Tournament

MONROE, Mich. --- The Bethel Men's Bowling Team turned in strong performances on Saturday at the American Heartland Bowling Conference event held at Monroe Sports Center in Monroe, Michigan.

The format featured three team (individual) games followed by 15 Baker games. The Pilots responded with consistency all day, finishing 4th out of 13 varsity teams while averaging 199 as a group.

Bethel placed two bowlers inside the top 20 individually. Isaac Jenkins led the way in 11th place, averaging 222.66, while Isaac Lleras followed with a 19th-place finish, averaging 211.33 over his three games. Their performances helped anchor Bethel's climb into the top four of a deep field.

Head Coach Chris Adams reflected on the team's progress, saying, "The men bowled the best, as a team, they have all year. They are coming into their own at the right time, with a 2nd and a 4th in the last three tournaments."

The Pilots will next compete at the first Crossroads League Tournament from Dec. 5-6 in Marion, Ind.
