LIVONIA, Mich. --- The Bethel University Women's Lacrosse team (6-4, 3-2) dominated their game against Madonna (2-9, 0-4) on April 5, 2025, securing a 13-3 victory at the MU Soccer and Lacrosse Field on Saturday morning.
Chloe Harding put up a six point day with five goals and an assist, along with two goal performances by
Addi Jones,
PJ Pearson, and
Mackenzie Holland.
Bethel started strong, with
Addi Jones scoring the first goal at 14:56 of the first quarter.
Chloe Harding added two more goals in the first quarter, bringing the score to 5-1 by the end of the period.
Harding's contributions were key to Bethel's success, as she finished with five goals in total. The second quarter saw additional goals from Harding,
Mackenzie Holland, and a two-goal contribution from Jones, giving Bethel a 7-2 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Bethel extended their lead further.
PJ Pearson scored twice in the third quarter, and
Megan Williams added a goal off an assist from Pearson. The fourth quarter continued Bethel's dominance with Holland and
Serenity Kretschmer adding goals to seal the 13-3 win.
Bethel's defense, led by goalie
Maddie Reel, kept Madonna to only three goals, with Reel making multiple saves throughout the game.
Bethel will face the Siena Heights Saints in Adrian, Michigan, on Wednesday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m. in O'Laughlin Stadium.
