ELKHART, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots competed against Indiana Wesleyan, Olivet Nazarene, and Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon at Elkhart Health and Aquatics.
Freshman
Jorge Souto Vilas broke his own 100 Backstroke Bethel University Record (50.71), while surpassing the NAIA B Cut (52.28).
Andrew Williams also broke through the NAIA B Cut for the 50 Free, while setting a new school record in the event, with a time of 21.05. The performance marked a personal best for the sophomore.
Zach Anguish saw a personal best time in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:58.32.
Owen Fleck faced Aquinas' Cooper Wasson in the 3M Dives, and prevailed with a 306.30 showing. The senior also took first in the 1M Dives over both Aquinas entries with a score of 269.55.
Bethel will next compete at the NAIA 2026 Swimming & Diving Championships from March 4-7 at Elkhart Health & Aquatics.
