Lamarr Williams broke two Crossroads League records in the 100 and 200-meter dashes that were previously held by Huntington University's Zachary Collins that set the records in the 2024 Crossroads League Outdoor Championships. The men's team sits in seventh of 10 competing conference teams after day one.
Williams placed second in the 100-meter with a 10.34, breaking the previous record of 10.46 set by Collins in last year's meet, and took second in the 200-meter with a 20.86, which breaks Collins' record of 21.07.
Landon Herbert took fourth in the Long Jump wih a 6.81-meter mark, and
Joey Rutten placed fourth in the Pole Vault with a 4.50-meter mark.
The Pilots finish the Crossroads League Outdoor Championship on May 2, at 9:00 a.m. in Marion, Ind. on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan.
