Bethel Athletics Hall of Fame
A first-ballot Al Beutler Athletic Hall of Famer, Kangai competed for four years for the women's cross country and track & field programs from 2007-12. On the track and field side, she still holds program records for Indoor 600m at 1:36.12 and 4x400m Relay at 3:50.57, and Outdoor 400m Hurdles at 59.60 and 4x400m Relay at 3:49.01. Kangai was a 2011 NAIA Indoor All-American (4x400m Relay) and a three-time NAIA Outdoor All-American (400m Hurdles twice, 4x400m Relay).
Kangai was an eight-time NCCAA Indoor All-American and an eight-time NCCAA Outdoor All-American. She won individual titles in the Indoor 4x400m Relay (twice), 4x800m Relay, Outdoor 400m Hurdles (twice), and 4x400m Relay (three times). She was a member of the program's first four NCCAA National Championships (2010-2011 Indoor, 2010-2011 Outdoor).
In the Crossroads League, Kangai was an 11-time All-League performer with four individual league titles, twice in the 400m Hurdles and twice in the 4x400m Relay. She helped the Pilots to three Crossroads League Championships (2009-2010-2011).
As a cross country runner, Kangai still holds five of the top 50 times in program history and was a two-time NCCAA All-American and one-time Crossroads League All-Conference performer.
