Tony Natali came to Bethel in the fall of 1999 when he was named the Men's and Women's Track and Field Head Coach. Elevating the program to new heights, Natali coached the teams to a combined 13 NCAA National Championships and 10 Crossroads League Conference Championships.

Natali also oversaw success on an individual athlete level, coaching nine NAIA Individual National titles including seven in his final three seasons at the helm of his program. Additionally, he has seen 152 NAIA All-American and 845 NCCAA All-American performances under his watch. Natali's success also extended at the Crossroads League level, directing 548 All-League performances, including 245 League Championship performances.

He has coached 20 Athlete of the Year award winners, including two NAIA Indoor Outstanding Performers of the Meet, four NCCAA Wheeler Award honorees, three NCCAA Indoor Athletes of the Meet, ten NCCAA Outdoor Athletes of the Meet, and one Crossroads League Student-Athlete of the Year.

Natali was recognized as a Coach of the Year an incredible 23 times, earning the honor at NCCAA Indoor seven times, NCCAA Outdoor five times, and Crossroads League 11 times and was inducted into the NCCAA Hall of Fame in 2018.

Natali also assisted the men's basketball program from 1999-2017. He helped the program to a record of 419-204 during his time on the bench, with two
NCCAA National Championships and eight trips to the NAIA National Tournament. He retired from coaching following the 2018-19 season and was named the Athletic Director on July 1, 2019.
