Bethel University (Ind)

A 1981 graduate of Bethel, Brenneman was the first woman to receive an athletic scholarship. During her four years at Bethel, she lettered in volleyball, basketball and softball. She was a captain of the volleyball team in 1979 and 1980 and also helped lead Bethel volleyball to its first winning season in 1978. She also helped the program to other major feats including its first invitation to a national tournament in 1979, and a second place finish at the Messiah-NCCAA National Invitational Tournament in 1980
