Bethel Athletics Hall of Fame
Lightfoot is one of two players in program history with at least 2,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 700 assists in his career. Lightfoot is a two-time NAIA All-American, earning an Honorable Mention in 2009 and Third Team status in 2010, and also was a two-time NAIA Scholar Athlete (2009, 2010). He helped lead his teams to an NAIA Quarterfinal appearance in 2008, a semi-final run in 2009, and a second round finish in 2010.
The 2010 NCCAA Pete Maravich Award winner, Lightfoot was a three-time NCCAA All-American, earning First Team honors in 2010, and was also named an NCCAA Scholar Athlete in 2009 and 2010. As a freshman, Lightfoot and the Pilots won the 2007 NCCAA National Championship, the program's fourth NCCAA and seventh total national championship.
Lightfoot, a first-ballot Al Beutler Athletic Hall of Famer, was a staple in the Crossroads League All-Conference awards list, earning Honorable Mention in 2007, Second Team in 2008 and 2009, and First Team in 2010. With Lightfoot at the point, the Pilots won back-to-back Crossroads League regular season and tournament titles in 2008 and 2009 and finished with a 111-33 record in four seasons, including a 51-23 mark against league teams.
Lightfoot ranks 10th in scoring (2,075), 3rd in free throws made (564), 7th in three-pointers made (251), 5th in three-point percentage (.414), 5th in assists (702), and one of 39 members of the 500 Rebound Club for his career. He also was presented with Bethel's Ron Paulsen Award in 2010, presented annually to the top male and female senior athletes who best exemplify the values of Pilot athletics since 1972.
